During the last weekend of September, the annual Chestnut-24 Petanque Tournament took place at Bohdan Park in Uzhhorod.
This large-scale event brought together the best petanque players from Ukraine, Lithuania, France, Germany, and Slovakia, creating a true sports celebration.
Congratulations to the winners! On the first day of the tournament, all prize places in the "head-to-head" competition were secured by representatives of the Uzhhorod Petanque Club, with Petro Hois taking first place. The second day saw success for the women's "double" team consisting of Veronika Homenyuk and Svitlana Kiprych. The "bronze medals" were awarded to the team that triumphed on the final day: the "triplet" of Olena Kolodiy, Andrii Doroshuk, and Vlad Hodorovets.
The Chestnut-24 Tournament once again showcased the high level of athlete preparation and united true petanque enthusiasts.
The "Uptown" Petanque Club is proud to support such important events and contribute to the development of this sport in Transcarpathia and throughout the country, strengthening the sporting community in our region. Together, we are making petanque even more popular!
