36 athletes from different cities of Ukraine took part in it. Before the start of the tournament, representatives of the "Uptown" club held a master class for beginners, during which everyone was introduced to the rules of pétanque. At the end of this training, a friendly match was played in the "triplets" format. The format of the competition - "super melee" - involves a change in the composition of the teams in each round. In total, the regulations provided for 4 tours, lasting 50 minutes + 1 "additional coshonet". The games between 12 triplet teams took place on 6 excellent grounds of the 3rd Lyceum of the Irpin City Council. The victory in this tournament was celebrated by the multiple champion of Ukraine in petanque Dmytro Bugai (petanque club "Fair Play"). The 2nd and 3rd places were taken by the players of the "Uptown" club - Cherevan Vladyslav and Yevhen Rafalsky. In addition to the representatives of the aforementioned clubs, athletes playing for the petanque club "Irpin" and "Koshovy" also took part. We would like to thank the Irpin City Council and the Kyiv Regional Petanque Federation for their help in holding the competition. We hope that such events will contribute to the development of petanque, encouraging everyone who wants to join this exciting game.
