One of the most interesting innovations at the lyceum is the arrangement of a pétanque court. This court is designed for six places, and already today it was tested by local pétanque players, as well as guests of the city of Irpin. The main feature of this game is its appeal to children. The game of pétanque promotes the development of endurance, accuracy, strategic thinking and even geometric skills, since the scoring of each game round is directly related to the measurement and calculation of the distance at which the balls were thrown from the center of the game - the cochonet. The creation of this site was facilitated by "Epicentr", which sponsored the project. Master-classes for schoolchildren, their parents and all interested parties were conducted by the members of the "Irpin Petanque Club", the "Koshovy" and "Apyaun" petanque clubs, as well as the head of the Kyiv Regional Petanque Federation.
